This site is starting to get setup, soon (in geologic time) information on several small embedded CPU's will be available. The CPU's I'm interested in are; 12/20/2008 Freescale chips are on hold for now, later after I get some tools setup for the AVR and MSP430 families I will re-visit the Freescale family, in particular I'm interested in the HC12X and Coldfire families for use in large projects. Under ConstructionBack in the early days of microprocessors I was a big fan ot the Motorola MC6809, and MC68000 cpu chips, they were a pleasure to write code in assembler and creating an efficient compiler was an enjoyable task. 12/20/2008 After playing around with the AVR chips for a little bit I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm carrying several models of the chips in my store and I have a decent collection of tools.  |
